Angel Reach is a dynamic, growing, non-profit Christian organization serving Kinship families doing their best to keep children out of the child protective system and also young people (16-24) who have aged out of the foster care system and/or who are at risk for homelessness. Services include housing; counseling; food pantry; clothes closet; employment and educational advising; transportation and mentorships. The working culture at Angel Reach is family first and one of empowerment for both clients and staff. Angel Reach is located in Conroe, Texas and 20 minutes north of The Woodlands.

Minimum Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older
• ​Must pass background and drug tests
• ​Must have a clean driving record
• ​Must be dependable, work well with a team and have a good work ethic
• ​Must be capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
• ​Must be respectful and pleasant with donor clients and co-workers
• ​Must be able and willing to follow instructions and keep clear records
• ​Must be willing to help with other work projects as needed
• Must be able to use a smart phone and a google calendar

Position Summary: Assist store with driving Angel Reach truck to pick-up and deliver donations weekly. Job also includes assisting Angels Loft with the daily operations of the furniture store, move furniture, help organize incoming donations, and help with other projects as needed. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Must assist with at least 2 Angel Reach events annually.
• Must attend regularly scheduled staff meetings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience working with young adults
• Be a team player on staff with a desire to learn and willingness to receive direction
• Receive training in Trauma Informed Care and TBRI
• Have strong written and spoken communication skills and basic computer skills

Position Summary:

‍Be responsible for maintaining a safe, community environment for clients in housing by being a teacher and role model. Engage in intentional relationship with clients in order to support their growth in responsibility, life skills, peer relationships and overall stability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

• Assists residents in developing a livable, inclusive and responsible community in this way:
• Engage, coach and guide residents through mastering their housing life skills through the use of TBRI and trauma informed skills
• Maintain a mutually respectful and inclusive environment in the home
• Be present and alert while on duty at assigned location
• Inspect house for cleanliness and follow up with residents who are in need of additional coaching in order to master completion of their chores
• Drive to the other properties nightly to do a “secure” check.
• View all Angel Reach cameras for any activity. Will log suspicious and questionable activity and report it to the Housing Coordinator.  
• Respond to negative behavior by teaching, correcting and approaching in a trauma informed manner. If expectations are not being met, following the set out protocol for conversations and teaching.  
• Respond to crisis situations by defusing the immediate situation and by following the Agency Medical Emergency Mental Health Protocol
• Maintain proper reporting and submission or necessary maintenance work orders
• Attend monthly all staff meetings
• Will insure that residents are up for appointments should they need it
• Support transportation team in getting clients to appointments when needed
• Maintain residents’ privacy and confidentiality – if the safety, well being or continued residency at Angel Reach is in jeopardy, staff will inform the Housing Coordinator according to agency protocol
• Report nightly in the shift report and monthly data of client services
• Perform other duties as assigned
